@ojelabii @streetartutopia PS: sorry for offending you, but this stuff sounds like the bullshit my government is producing on the issue. It's always "but october 7th" meaning Palestinians get no justice, while Israel is getting a surplus.
@zeri That wasn't offending in my understanding. We may just disagree. Disagreement isn't a bad thing, in my opinion. Disagreement may even be unavoidably necessary to speak with anybody outside ones own peer-group or "bubble". And to speak with one another is the only way I know of, to end a conflict … aside from using even more violence, that is to say.

This belongs next to a photo from Auschwitz.Nobody can find one acceptable and not the other and not be the biggest fucking hypocrite the world has ever seen.

It's good when these zionists come outta the woodwork. Makes 'em easy to block."Do you condemn Hamas?"
What a fucking cliche.

Stop equating war (and potential war crimes) with planned, industrialized annihilation of people.
This is antisemitic bullshit. Period. -

Stop equating war (and potential war crimes) with planned, industrialized annihilation of people.
This is antisemitic bullshit. Period. No it's absolutely not, on the contrary anyone who knows and understands the Holocaust immediately recognize the similarities. If you knew what's happening in Gaza you'd know it's at times just as cruel and just as inhumane.
Being killed by overwhelming firepower dropped from the skies, or starved to death, or raped by dogs in prison, because Palestinians lives are treated as completely unimportant - this is exactly the kind of inhumanity that we saw during the Holocaust.

Whether your skinny body is poisoned in a gas chamber or crushed under a building makes no difference to the victims.

@zeri Firstly: That comparison »is« devastating. Secondly: If you write "nothing justifies this" … would that count for the Hamas »as well« (which knowingly started this all with their October 7 attacks from 2023)?

@leeloo i think it's best to reject crimes on their own merit.
Israel did this. It's a war crime and a genocide. They stand accused by the ICC and rightfully so.
Bringing up Oct 7, or the Holocaust just provides irrelevant distractions from the very clear legal and ethical reality.
There's no excuse, no debate, no comparison, just judgement and punishment for them. The only place this should be allowed to be defended is in court in the Hague.

@zeri @streetartutopia@WindOfChange If you think so. One other already blocked me for being a zionist. I don't think, that I am, but those blocks make my life easier as well. Have a nice day nevertheless.

@streetartutopia Unless there's a fixed webcam that's miraculously stayed in place there despite every building around it being leveled then this is AI generated. Both images have pixel-perfect identical framing, which is impossible to achieve years apart even in perfect conditions. Given the abundance of genuine photographic evidence of the destruction of Gaza it seems unhelpful to spread AI-generated approximations that risk feeding zionist narratives about fabricated evidence.

@zeri @streetartutopia@ojelabii @WindOfChange @streetartutopia yea well I get called an antisemite a lot and blocked too. Just take it in Germany being called a zionist is a lot less harmful than being called a antisemite. I take it it might be different if you live in Ireland or Spain. Get used to it people are not rational with this topic, which is understandable considering the mountain of corpses we are talking about.

You're an interesting species. An interesting mix. You're capable of such beautiful dreams, and such horrible nightmares. You feel so lost, so cut off, so alone, only you're not. See, in all our searching, the only thing we've found that makes the emptiness bearable, is each other.

@zeri Oh, I'm fine with it. I just don't think, that I qualify by definition with that term. (And to to be honest: I knew what to expect, when I firstly responded here. Still: I think that speaking with each other [rather than blocking each other away] is the only way to end conflicts really.) And yes, I'm careful with giving out labels as well (or at least… I try to)! So no label for you here, I'm afraid. Have a nice day and thanks for the time you took for this!

The best thing about your comment - it is not clear to me which you are calling a war and which you are calling "planned industrialized annihilation of people".The latter fits both. Though I would argue that WW2 was more of a war than the genocide in Gaza, but you sound like someone who would call tanks and fighter jets murdering unarmed civilians a war, no matter how proud that would make Joseph Goebbels.
