If it means something similar to justify, than I have to contradict, that I haven't justified anything here (as I tried to explain in another long post, that has either been deleted meanwhile (or I may have been blocked), so that my response there has got lost. Pointing out that there may be war-crimes on both sides of a conflict isn't justifying though, I think!?

Disagreement may even be unavoidably necessary to speak with anybody outside ones own peer-group or "bubble". And to speak with one another is the only way I know of, to end a conflict … aside from using even more violence, that is to say.

No it's absolutely not, on the contrary anyone who knows and understands the Holocaust immediately recognize the similarities. If you knew what's happening in Gaza you'd know it's at times just as cruel and just as inhumane.

Being killed by overwhelming firepower dropped from the skies, or starved to death, or raped by dogs in prison, because Palestinians lives are treated as completely unimportant - this is exactly the kind of inhumanity that we saw during the Holocaust.

Bringing up Oct 7, or the Holocaust just provides irrelevant distractions from the very clear legal and ethical reality.

There's no excuse, no debate, no comparison, just judgement and punishment for them. The only place this should be allowed to be defended is in court in the Hague.
