I text back "The phone is at District Mart." I then get a phone call where I recount the sequence of events to the participants.

I pull out my phone and call his number. At first it goes to voicemail, but after a few tries he answers. I say "Hey, it's me with the phone. Where are you at?" He says, "You can't fool me. I know you're a cop. Stop calling me." And he hangs up.

@ckr we don’t often get to use the word saga to describe stories in our modern age but this might qualify
