Multiple reports indicate that military commanders across branches and installations have told troops that the war with Iran is part of a divine plan to bring about #Armageddon and the return of Jesus Christ.
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (#MRFF) received over 110 complaints from service members in more than 40 units, stating that commanders cited the Book of #Revelation, referred to President #Trump as “anointed by Jesus,” and described the war as a biblically sanctioned event. One non-commissioned officer reported that their commander said Trump was chosen to “light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon.”
#Hegseth sponsors a weekly White House Bible study led by Pastor Ralph #Drollinger, who teaches that supporting #Israel brings divine favor.
We need to get these people away from power and guns now.

I mean, the thing is, the Secretary of Scotch wants to go to war with #Islam, and that’s a problem. Islam is not a place, you can’t attack a location and call it attacking Islam. I mean, they could bomb Mecca or Mount Arafat, but it would launch a thousand year war, in which the West would never know peace. Muslims are not the enemy. They have never been the enemy.
Fascists are the enemy. Profit takers are the enemy. Billionaires are the enemy. The surveillance companies are the enemy. But Ahmed? He’s just a dude, ya know?
A war against a religion, any religion, is a fool’s errand. The believers will fight to the death, and the non believers want nothing to do with a Crusade and will not join. There are a lot more Muslims than there are people who believe what Hegseth and crew believe, which is as far from Christianity as you can get, see Matthew 7:21-23.

As an aside, do you know why #Arabs are “#White” for US census purposes, and not a designation like Hispanic?
Because of a court case : Dow v. United States (1915). George Dow, a Syrian Christian immigrant, was initially denied citizenship because the court did not consider Syrians “white persons” under the Naturalization Act of 1790.
On appeal, the Fourth Circuit ruled that Syrians—along with other "Western Asiatics" were part of the #Caucasian race and thus eligible for citizenship. This decision hinged on anthropological arguments that went thusly:
