I’ve altered my father’s lightweight rain pants to fit me. It took a while, but was an easy fix. 🧵🪡

The sides are French seamed to prevent fraying.
I think I’ll make a carrying pouch with the cutoff parts. It’ll come in handy for hikes.

My supposedly designer (Kipling) backpack is not even that well constructed, and fraying by the zippers. But these I just altered and made will last my lifetime for sure.

Btw, I used my pajama pants for a reference for resizing.I thought about adding the side pockets with the leftover cutoff part, but the rain pants might not stay up if they are weighed down.

so I decided not.
