    I’ve started the seeds, now that the beds are prepped with compost and covered with weed-block cloth in my community garden plot. It should take no time for the seedlings to emerge by the bright window under the plant light. 🌱✨

    These plastic salad containers are great for this! Everything is repurposed and reused.

      FWIMC: the cuke and sunflower seeds are already sprouting! And I can see the beans are fattening under the soil.

      I also decided to propagate some begonia. Propagation of plants gives me joy. lol

      Edit: autocorrect somehow changed ‘already’ to ‘spreading’ 🙄

            After many years, I feel I finally got the timing right (for this region, it’s colder longer in the spring). Seedlings radiate such a burst of energy, a positive force, it’s worth all the trouble. 🥰🌱✨

                @JeniParsons well, 2 different kinds of kale, dill, basil, lettuce, okra, cucumber, Roma tomato, sunflower, pink and white meadowsweet,* hollyhock,* bittermelon, forget-me-not, blue salvia, some tall grass,* mitsuba,* begonia,** green beans, yellow summer squash, and zucchini.

                * from harvested seeds
                ** from cuttings

                Not all of them sprouted yet, we’ll see! 🤞🤞
