Thank you to those who have reached out, i've seen your messages and i've cried reading some of them... but to feel so many withdraw, to receive such hateful messages both directly and indirectly and in places i never expected, i've chosen to withdraw myself completely. i've disabled notifications on my phone, except for uptime notifications.
i've received threats. we were chased through northwest Edmonton as we were trying to get home, and while that has been reported to the police to end their pursuit, i'm considering our options.
i remain in contact with our moderation and admin team to maintain our community and am checking my email for support when i mentally can.
The CBC published its article before i have been able to submit a statement of defence.
i'm devastated for our community, i'm devastated that these allegations have come to light without defence.
i understand that trust has been questioned, but i ask folks to please hold space.

@chad I have some faith in that. S'why I stuck around instead of bailing on day one. Hoping some interim update in lieu of the State of the Instance can help assure others, but I understand crafting such a statement can take some time
