#OTD 14 May 1820, Ann Taylor married Peter Mitchell in Abottshall Parish (Kirkcaldy), Fife, Scotland. After four children, she was widowed, remarried and had another child. The entire family emigrated to the USA in 1850 and settled near Portage, Wisconsin. Ann’s little red Bible was found when my cousin emptied her parents’ house. My third-great-grandmother's Bible is now one of my keepsakes to cherish, protect and pass down.
