T-shirt storage
Any ideas, hangers, folded in draws, open shelves, colour, size or some other normal system you do
Have you tried rolling
I need your help ... I know your system is the best

@MelissaBearTrix@gives.hugz.online I have started to separate the cool band t-shirts from the boring plebs one colour ones, by folding the first and rolling the latter.

@MelissaBearTrix I think my best was folded on open shelves so I could see them and not have to fuss with hangers

@MelissaBearTrix Rolled, and stored on a shelf sorted roughly by colour. (Though at the moment they're rolled and put in a plastic tub on the floor due to a shortage of furniture).

@MelissaBearTrix I roll to pack but otherwise fold, to not put so much mechanical stress on them over time (I roll tightly).
I adapted my folding after reading Marie Kondo's book, not precisely in line with her recommendations but in a way that suits me: I fold across the line of symmetry first, and then in half the other direction, twice, to get a shape that's fairly compact and can be arranged like records in a record shop. I can flip through a "stack" (stacked front to back in a drawer) to find what I want, and I define a "stack" by the overall shape of the shirt, because it's concealed in folded form. So, long sleeves are separate from short sleeves.
Exceptions: I roll tank tops, sweaters (because they're too bulky otherwise), and the kinds of materials that don't hold a folded form, which generally includes anything for hiking.

@MelissaBearTrix I have two stacks on the shelf. One is for tshirts wearable outside, and one for home only. I might introduce another stack, to separate those wearable outside but not necessarily to work. All folded flat in a way, that a piece of the print is visible in front of the stack.

@MelissaBearTrix folded, vertical, in drawers. All sleeveless by colour in a row, then short sleeves by colour, then long sleeves. Jeans vertical in drawers, leggins rolled, thinner trousers on hangers below the blouses. Best working system for me so far.

@MelissaBearTrix I don't have to search for a dark tanktop or a blue short sleeve shirt, I know which row is which and with the vertical sorting you see the colours from above and everything stays in place. Even my chaotic son has copied the system and is happy now.
