And just last weekend I picked up the Reggae Greats compilation for him, which has different version of "Pressure Drop" & 3 other songs from this album, which sent me down a maddening rabbit hole of trying to sort out Toots's recording history. I didn't really figure it out, but fuck it, any version of Toots is great, I'll take 'em all.

@TheVinylApe Apparently, there was a 1973 release called Funky Kingston released in Jamaica. The US release under the same title (which you & I have) used only 3 tracks from that album, added 6 from In the Dark (1974) as well as the version of "Pressure Drop" from The Harder They Come. But I'm not sure that's the whole story. There seem to be differences in the tracks used, but I ran out of has before determining where different versions were sourced from.
