Over 75% of the world’s food crops need pollinators.

Yet, bee populations have dropped globally over recent decades due to:

    🔸 habitat loss
    🔸 climate change
    🔸 excessive use of pesticides

Our fertiliser plan promotes healthier ecosystems, which are essential for bees’ survival.

On this #WorldBeeDay, we urge governments, organisations and citizens to help save these precious creatures.

We need to keep our bees busy and well!

        @EUCommission

While I support this initiative – who doesn't want less pesticides, cleaner waterways, more nature – #WorldBeeDay is about all the other bees, whose numbers are plummeting hand in hand with habitat loss. Honeybees don't need saving; that would be like saying we have to save the birds and we start with the chicken.

@EUCommission If you really mean this, the EC should take action to tighten the laws regarding the use of pesticides. But it seems you're planning the opposite. https://www.pan-europe.info/press-releases/2025/12/eu-commission-retreats-worst-plan-still-opens-door-unlimited-pesticide

Over 75% of the world’s food crops need pollinators.

Yet, bee populations have dropped globally over recent decades due to:

                                  🔸 habitat loss
                                  🔸 climate change
                                  🔸 excessive use of pesticides

Our fertiliser plan promotes healthier ecosystems, which are essential for bees’ survival.

On this #WorldBeeDay, we urge governments, organisations and citizens to help save these precious creatures.

We need to keep our bees busy and well!

@EUCommission I don't get it what Mastodon has to do with bees.

Do you post similar things to suggest facebook, google or instagram are out of touch with reality, too?

Or, 🤔 Since you post it on mastodon, you want to show how you give in to silliness?

This is too goolge for me - , err… meta. 🤯
