        They declare the problems are bad and dangerous, they say the problems should always be solved asap, they tell you to be efficient and proactive.
        And you see the problem - and you fix it on the spot.
        And then later they come to you angry that you didn’t discuss it with them. While you know perfectly well than ‘discuss’ means at least a week of delay between endless meetings with people who have no idea what the problem actually is and in which way it’s dangerous. While your solution is perfectly within your responsibilities, permissions and area of expertise and already has shown its effectiveness.

        You are told you have to be efficient. You are told your job consists, among other things, of solving the problems.
        So you solve. Efficiently.
        But the thing is, for them the efficiency is not the goal, despite whatever has been told. And decisions are not about actions and solutions. For them of all that is somehow about sense of power and self-value - and not in the sense those things have for you.
        And you’re not a young naive inexperienced person newbie anymore, you’re a seasoned professional, and you’ve been through that zillion times before. But you still do that. And will keep doing. Because it’s painful to not be efficient.
        But you never stop being frustrated by the people who don’t want solution, want a discussion that includes them
