I'm reading a nice romance where one of the characters is #autistic and he has a list of entirely reasonable forms of touch that he likes and doesn't like. Is that an autistic thing? I figured everyone had preferences.My spouse's family likes holding hands and brushing the back of the hand with a thumb. I'm like JFC use the whole palm to touch, who would want light #touch that could be a bug

@KatyElphinstone @Tooden Tokenism is a powerful wedge they can use, if detractors oppose them they can say they're being sexist or whatever. The minority they've chose to use is their human shield, redirects the argument against the speaker not the words being spoken.
