The rich alway see one rule for them & another rule for the rest of us.

@ChrisMayLA6 add to that he's also been getting UK government subsidies for his INEOS chemicals company, while investing that money abroad and closing Grangemouth refinery in Scotland.
I gather he was also touting for government help to redevelop Old Trafford.
Just another rich sponger off the state.

@marjolica @ChrisMayLA6 and one of the 76% of people living in Monaco not born there. An immigrant in a much bigger proportion of that country.

There's a radical division among Brits in France between those of us that recognise we are immigrants, and the colonial-types that call themselves 'ex-pats'.
@GeofCox @ChrisMayLA6 I wonder, how long it'll take for people to feel just European, or even better, Global Citizen.

@GeofCox @ChrisMayLA6
I’ve always thought that ’ex-pat’ should be reserved for workers on fixed-term contracts. As soon as you decide to stay long-term, you clearly become an immigrant.Yes, there is a time and/or commitment aspect to it. 'Ex-pats' are definitely still very British, likely to return to the UK, less integrated in French society and generally more critical of French (or regional) culture.

It's the thing I find most bewildering about the tribalism of football support. If a team was all local players, I'd understand people being proud of it.
@suearcher @kim @ChrisMayLA6 being loyal supporter of a team that buys and sells their players just seems kinda stupid. Fans are loyal but the players don't give a toss.
