I am interested in learning more about #HamRadio

Are there a few books (not websites, I like books) people would recommend for the absolute beginner?

    Thanks! πŸ˜€

@scandigonian I'd look at arrl.org and rsgb.org for the books they publish, then go find cheap copies at bookfinder.com.

@scandigonian your wording suggests, you are interested in the subject itself and not in learning for the exam.

If that applies, the ARRL hand book should give you a good overview.

@scandigonian @skewray I would definitely second this recommendation. Both publish a variety of books on just about any topic you would be interested in.
Plus, they each have license manuals for studying, if and when you're ready to take an exam.
