        @oven @tshirtman @frameworkcomputer So I could basically just get the new chassis/input cover/screen and keep my current mainboard/SSD/RAM? That would be terrific.

          @rubdos @tshirtman @frameworkcomputer That's my understanding! I'm probably going for a full upgrade, i need a bit more processing power than my current 13. But yeah, Framework is such a cool company!

            They have the system boards for preorder, but you have to buy compatible ram.

                                @Natanox @frameworkcomputer Again? My 12th gen 13" has removable RAM. I think you're mixing up the desktop mainboards with the laptops.

                                      @bladecoder @frameworkcomputer Going to answer on my own personal account. It's very good. The Ubuntu experience is absolutely shocking and I am a Fedora-based user myself.

                                      I would say it is WELL within the ballpark. I will say I can use my battery all day and not think about it at all into the night. It is a great machine, honestly.
