@frameworkcomputer Hope the new Core Ultra 3 can make it to the Framework Laptop 16 in the near future. Not sure how that would impact the Expansion Module re PCIe lands if/when it happens.

@oven @tshirtman @frameworkcomputer So I could basically just get the new chassis/input cover/screen and keep my current mainboard/SSD/RAM? That would be terrific.

@rubdos @tshirtman @frameworkcomputer That's my understanding! I'm probably going for a full upgrade, i need a bit more processing power than my current 13. But yeah, Framework is such a cool company!

They have the system boards for preorder, but you have to buy compatible ram.

@frameworkcomputer Bah! Whats the point it upgradable systems if you come out with overhauls this big? I want one but my current FW13 already fits my use case.

What part would I have to upgrade to get the battery life?

@bladecoder @frameworkcomputer Going to answer on my own personal account. It's very good. The Ubuntu experience is absolutely shocking and I am a Fedora-based user myself.

I would say it is WELL within the ballpark. I will say I can use my battery all day and not think about it at all into the night. It is a great machine, honestly.
