‘The vehicle suddenly accelerated with our baby in it’: the terrifying truth about why Tesla’s cars keep crashing

Elon Musk is obsessive about the design of his supercars, right down to the disappearing door handles. But a series of shocking incidents – from drivers trapped in burning vehicles to dramatic stops on the highway – have led to questions about the safety of the brand. Why won’t Tesla give any answers?

"Tesla released a statement to the press saying the company was “deeply saddened” by the incident, adding, “We are working to gather all the facts in this case and are fully cooperating with local authorities.”

To this day, Meier still doesn’t know why her husband died."

Doesn't sound like full co-operation to me.

      Tesla lies and hides everything.

"Some escaped with a scare; others ended up in ditches, crashing into walls or colliding with oncoming vehicles. “After dropping my son off in his school parking lot, as I go to make a right-hand exit it lurches forward suddenly,” one complaint read. Another said, “My autopilot failed/malfunctioned this morning (car didn’t brake) and I almost rear-ended somebody at 65mph.” A third reported, “Today, while my wife was driving with our baby in the car, it suddenly accelerated out of nowhere.” "

"Braking for no reason caused just as much distress. “Our car just stopped on the highway. That was terrifying,” a Tesla driver wrote. Another complained, “Frequent phantom braking on two-lane highways. Makes the autopilot almost unusable.” Some report their car “jumped lanes unexpectedly”, causing them to hit a concrete barrier, or veered into oncoming traffic."

So if Tesla hits 8 trillion market cap Elon Musk is being given a pay package that will make him worth a trillion dollars.

If anyone is still oblivious that this is a con, nothing will save them. 😄

Oh and racist. I forgot the racism.

So the man who showed up to the White House with a black eye and claimed that he asked his son to punch him in the face is now going to manufacture computer chips. đŸ€Ą

"Elon Musk has announced the Terafab project, a joint venture between Tesla, SpaceX and xAI, to build the "largest chip manufacturing facility ever." In his usual grandiose fashion, Musk claims Terafab is the next step towards harnessing the power of the sun and creating a "galactic civilization."

Tesla makes large profits in the United States. It then pays huge costs to a partnership domiciled in the Netherlands which isn't real. So Tesla pays zero United States tax.

It also pays little tax in the Netherlands, too. Tax data is confidential there, so we won't know how that works.

                              ...

However, note that even if Tesla had to pay taxes in the United States on this $18 billion of profits it would have paid $400 million of taxes. (Ref https://economictimes.com/news/international/business/elon-musk-scorned-shady-loopholes-yet-offshore-tax-tricks-likely-saved-tesla-hundreds-of-millions/articleshow/130389082.cms. By the way, I have no idea how it would be such a small number!)

If an individual made $18 billion of income they would have to pay roughly half of it - $9 billion - as taxes.

So there's something else gravely wrong with this situation.

Finally, all these tax shenanigans are just straight up making Elon Musk rich. That's it. It's just more con man bullshit because all of these savings pump the stock price which goes straight in his pocket for the most part.

He's just a boy-faced con man. And a racist Nazi of course.

Unsurprisingly Uber does the same thing and avoids taxes using dozens of shell companies.

Any rational actor would take full advantage of these tax loopholes, unfortunately.

Uber claimed a $4.5 billion global operating loss in 2019 for tax purposes, despite bringing in $5.8 billion, an Australian research group found.

I have all these leftover Dutch shell companies lying around the house, so it is nice to see a use for them. Reuse and recycle, you know.
