Pack it up, a macOS rant.

I wanted to try a piece of proprietary software on my macbook, and the only way to install it is via the provided .pkg installer.

I don't like it, and now want to uninstall it again.

Lo and behold. Since the developer does not ship an uninstaller, there is no easy way to get rid of this piece of software.

The developer lists a bunch of directories I can clean up in their FAQ.

pkutil can show metadata and file lists, but to remove the package I have to glue that shit together with some awk and xargs sudo rm rm?

The fuck?
