Can we not stop voter purges based on the "presumption of innocence?" In other words, if the US government wants to claim I'm ineligible to vote, it's incumbent upon them to prove it.

Can we not stop voter purges based on the "presumption of innocence?" In other words, if the US government wants to claim I'm ineligible to vote, it's incumbent upon them to prove it. If they can't, I remain on the rolls. The current status places the burden upon the citizen to prove citizenship via birth certificates, passports, etc. This is not our burden!
