When I was born, the Voting Rights Act didn’t exist yet & white & black Freedom Riders were being assassinated in the South. Little black girls were being killed in Alabama church bombings. Never could I have imagined than in only 60 years, the Supreme Court would make the hard-won Voting Rights Act no longer enforceable. That I’d see federal voting rights for blacks and abortion rights (won in 1973) for women rolled back after barely a generation. I am so disgusted by my country. #votingrights

@SharonCrockett I believe right to trial and an attorney are also gone.
If ICE bags you without cause or charges, they can just do it. And if they want to kill people in the street. They can just do it and continue working. -
