    NOVEMBER GROUP
    November Group
    1982 U.S. pressing

A sadly forgotten #80s #newwave #artrock band from my old neck of the woods in Boston, Massachusetts.

This was the first of two records these two ladies made, and yes, I said ladies.

Jittery, jagged, and awesome tunes written by Ann Prim and Kearney Kirby, two very talented musicians who named their band after a group of German expressionists from the early 20th century.

“Flatland” absolutely SMOKES, and “Pictures Of The Homeland” has such a cool pocket, courtesy of the band’s awesome rhythm section, Alvan Long and Raphael Gasparello.

    Really killer record.
Still have never seen their second one, Work That Dream.

@TheVinylApe Person on the cover bears a passing resemblance to Suzanne Vega.

@retrosponge not at all an inaccurate assessment.

@TheVinylApe I’ve seen this record cover at least once in passing but knew nothing about it. It’s a very memorable image.
