A KILLER assortment of #80s #alternative , #synthpop , #newwave and #powerpop with some of my most beloved underground bands of that decade. Bands like Jet Black Berries, Leaving Trains, Red Kross, Rain Parade, Green On Red, and Game Theory just to name a few. However, one song in particular was the sole reason I bought this. John Trubee was a bit of a cult figure. An underground poet, writer and musician whose claim to fame is the song that appears here, “A Blind Man’s Penis”.The song made him an underground celebrity in the #80s & this is only one of about 500 compilations that the song has appeared on. I’ve looked for the 7” single for years, but have never come across one.
