    Albertans work tirelessly to enhance our province: for market access, competitiveness and to attract investment.

    Separatism smashes that dream. It drives away investment, makes us uncompetitive and denies us opportunity.

    Secession, as Deborah Yedlin at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce rightly points out, is not the solution.

      @UnitedForCA

      Good.
      Now, talk about the UCP killing investment in renewable energy projects.

      Libertarians love free markets, right? Right?

        @ScribblersEmporium Oh. She did speak up for the renewables sector.

        Here's one example: https://calgarychamber.com/whats-new/statement-calgary-chamber-requests-further-engagement-on-renewables-regulatory-changes/

          @ScribblersEmporium Of course, she's measured in her speech. But that's a hazard of her role -- waffly speaking points and understatement are the droll ramifications of being a president of a chamber of commerce.

            @UnitedForCA

            You saw the latest? A $14 surcharge on every solar panel. I'd say that engagement has been ineffective.

            I guess the role is what you make it.

            PS thanks for the link.
