So, Wes Streeting has resigned as Health Secretary, which for many (whatever comes next) may be a good thing... he has also (as yet) not broken cover on a leadership challenge.

My guess is his team are seeking to Angela Rayner's team to see if they can buy her off with a senior post - perhaps even Chancellor (or maybe not)?
No doubt all will become clearer as the day(s) progresses.

@ChrisMayLA6 So far, this looks like good news.
The #PrincelingOfDarkness has crashed off the runway, and is trying to save face.

Attached: 1 image Wes #Streeting, the #PrincelingOfDarkness (loyal pal of #Mandelson), has resigned from the UK government. But he has NOT made a leadership challenge. Which he would have done, if he had the numbers. Now he is trying to save some face by posing as a sort of fair process advocate. But basically, he has just crashed. 😅🤣🥂🍺 And he is no longer Health Secretary ❤️ #ukpol
