    Nelle immagini diffuse dal Corpo Nazionale Soccorso Alpino e Speleologico, la vasta operazione di soccorso che oggi ha fatto seguito alla valanga staccatasi sulla 'Hohe Ferse' (Tallone Grande), montagna dell'Alto Adige tra Val Ridanna e la Val di Racines. Venticinque scialpinsti di gruppi diversi sono stati investiti dalla massa nevosa staccatasi alle 11:40 a 2.445 metri di quota. Mobilitati gli elicotteri e gli uomini del soccorso alpino Cnsas, Alpenverein e Guardia di finanza, con unità cinofile e i vigili del fuoco della zona. Il bilancio è  di due morti, tre feriti gravi e due lievi

    Avalanche in Alto Adige, rescue teams in action on Hohe Ferse

    In images released by the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps, the large-scale rescue operation that followed today’s avalanche on the ‘Hohe Ferse’ (Great Toe), a mountain in South Tyrol between Val Ridanna and Val di Racines. Twenty-five ski instructors from various groups were struck by the snow mass that detached at 11:40 a.m. at an altitude of 2,445 meters. Helicopters and personnel from the Cnsas Alpine Rescue, Alpenverein and Finance Guard were mobilized, along with canine units and firefighters from the area. The death toll is two, with three serious and two minor injuries.
