    I've been building an RSS reader for the past year. No unread counts, no inbox to clear. Just a river that flows at its own pace.

    Today it's live on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. I wrote about everything that went into it.

                @tg Maybe don't use a RSS client on mobile to start with.

                I don't treat RSS feeds as my mailboxes, so I don't feel the urge or guilt.

                The idea is nice, and hiding the count on some existing clients should not be that difficult to implement.

                    @johann yes, I built it in, but as far as I know, nobody has tested it. If you do, please let me know how it works and if there is anything I can fix!

                      @omar sure, there are a ton of really great clients out there, and I'm sure they work for many people! My way isn't the only way, to be sure. Just wanted to offer something for folks who want to try something new.
