@moderation Hey since I caught y'all chatting about the latest mastodon.cloudburst of hashtag spamming, thought I'd say something. Several of us have them limited, not blocked, because of existing relationships among pre-2020 instances, when .cloud was just mostly normal and on the bigger side.
There are perfectly OK users there who just don't know it's been cast adrift. Including new accounts still finding it. It is attractive as it's open and mostly English language ...

@johannab@cosocial.ca yup that's the tricky part of abandoned and unmanaged instances isn't it. You can't even do right by the users and contact them en masse.
No good solution here.
