    quick question to @stefano@bsd.cafe : is this running on BSD? afaik theres no docs by deltachat on freebsd/openbsd support...

      @forgetpassword hello! This is currently running on Debian (that's why I'm not promoting it as an "official" BSD Cafe service) but I've had good results with the @feld script to install it on FreeBSD: my secondary server is doing great. When I'll have enough time, I'll migrate the BSD Cafe one to FreeBSD πŸ™‚

        @stefano @forgetpassword hello yes I am the FreeBSD implementation maintainer. Their deployment/configuration tooling is heavily dependent on Debian/systemd, so I re-implemented it with a self-contained Chef cookbook

        it's fully compatible and about 95% identical. A few minor changes are made like keeping the scheduled maintenance jobs as crons as they migrated to systemd timers.
