Our local independent bookshop has a monthly ‘mystery book’ subscription. The staff have hand-crafted teeny tiny editions of each title they’ve included so far. Each book cover is a faithful rendition of the real one. Amazon could never. AI could never.

Kristian F. Møller Boghandel. World-famous in Aarhus. Not least for its imaginative chalkboard signs. This one still makes me laugh.

@Sarah111well Precisely my facial expression when I first saw the teeny tiny book display. It's adorable.

@CiaraNi I think an itsy bitsy step stool would be in order in front of the books. Also, where is the banana for scale?

@Sarah111well Me too. The creative effort! It's one of those bookshops where every member of staff is a *reader* and it shows in all the little touches.

@sdarlington Agreed! I was already delighted by them before I even noticed that it isn't 'just' the author name on the spine, but actual recreations of the actual covers.
