@Alison When I hunted, I'd barely have my deer hung and folks were looking for a steak. When I stopped hunting, I had my last one too. funny about that. I like it. I'd hunt again if I was a younger man. These days, just filling the freezer with meat is a good reason

He did go with the guys in later years. I found some sketches he did while sitting in the bush and watching them. -

Beginning in 2008, I began to recognize a returning pair of Canada #Geese on my backyard marsh. @Lstn2urmamaThey mate for life, live 10 to 25 years, & return to nesting areas. It's possible that it's the same pair?
I named them Gail and Gordon.@Rasta They should of been much friendlier if same pair ...

I'd go in, get my deer quickly and go wit my father (when he was alive) to get him a deer so he stay out of the woods. I made my wife get a license too, so I could bring her deer out
