Once I met a Cowichan woman on the ferry from Sidney BC to Anacortes and she wore a jean jacket she had beadedcolorfully in flowers and hummingbirds and other figures in a NW Coast style. It was magnificent. She was headed for the pow wow at Warm Springs, where she had kin. Your jacket reminds me of hers.
