My jacket is coming along. Summer will find her way on to the front. I think a butterfly on the shoulder that is left available. Still need to fit some hearts somewhere. The smiley face on the right shoulder didn't make it into the photo.

Once I met a Cowichan woman on the ferry from Sidney BC to Anacortes and she wore a jean jacket she had beadedcolorfully in flowers and hummingbirds and other figures in a NW Coast style. It was magnificent. She was headed for the pow wow at Warm Springs, where she had kin. Your jacket reminds me of hers.

I have been considering beads
I also found the bag of buttons I've collected over a lifetime of sewing. I am thinking about putting some button.memories around the pocket flaps and cuffs. -
