Q1: Say hi, and tell us what you’ve been doing this week. #MakersHour
@MakersHour A1 Hello #MakersHour. This week I've been messing around with Raspberry Pi Pico's PIO system and working out how microcontroller emulation of the AY-3-8910 vintage sound chip works.
AY-3-8912/8910 Hardware Emulation
The 40-pin AY-3-8910 devices I've been playing with are no longer newly available, but they are pretty available if you are happy with a certain questionable quality (more on that here: Arduino and AY-3-8910). But the slightly shorter version (with fewer general purpose I/O pins), the 28 pin AY-3-8912, seems a lot harder to find,…

@MakersHour hello, I’m Vicki and this week I have mainly been knitting a scarf (and ignoring the jumpsuit I have been not sewing for the past few weeks)

Q1: Say hi, and tell us what you’ve been doing this week. #MakersHour
@MakersHour #makershour A1: hi! This week I've been getting ready to move to Canada, and trying to keep myself calm about moving to Canada, and getting some knitting done in the down time.
-
Oh dear, I hope you feel better soon!

Q1: Say hi, and tell us what you’ve been doing this week.
A1: Ola! Gave the bike a good clean and polished the down pipes. Nice and shiny now! Then I decided to decant two tubs of grease into a single, bigger tub. That was fun. I made an absolute howling mess. Grease everywhere. Used about three tonnes of blue paper. Gloves split and I had to use heavy degreaser on my hands. That dried out my skin and it went all cracky!

Hi!
This week I've mostly been doing more clearing out. But I did make a rhubarb upside down cake and a little pottering in the garden.

@MakersHour A1 #MakersHour hallo Amy/Ropey here. This week I'm home after a month in hospital and making consists of crocheting some gifts and a thank you for the team who cared for me so fully I can't tell you. This is not going to be a quick fix recovery even though the progress in 1 month is huge (for which I'm beyond grateful and relieved). Making and creativity are going to have to be an even bigger part of my life now as my gardening work is going to be VERY limited if at all possible.

@suearcher @MakersHour I keep looking at our rhubarb and contemplating doing something with it - upside down cake sounds delicious!
