Jorge Martin torna a vincere. Lo fa con la sua Aprilia in una gara che era stata dominata da Pecco Bagnaia, ma che ha ceduto velocità nell’ultimo giro con lo spagnolo che lo ha passato e poi ha tenuto il mezzo giro finale nella Sprint del Gp degli Usa di MotoGp sul circuito di Austin. Terzo posto per Acosta, mentre sono caduti prima Bezzecchi e Marc Marquez e poi Di Giannantonio con Martin che sale in vetta al Mondiale. Lo stesso Martin nel giro di festeggiamento dopo aver tagliato il traguardo dopo una lunga impennata sul rettilineo a 200 all’ora ha messo giù la gomma anteriore ed è scivolato via senza nessuna conseguenza.
Tornando alla gara al primo giro lo spagnolo Marc Marquez arriva lungo in curva e scivola via facendo cadere anche il poleman Di Giannantonio. Il romano prova a riprende la corsa ma poi è costretto al ritiro, mentre Bezzecchi cade in curva a 3 giri dalla fine e perde la prima posizione nella classifica piloti. Ai piedi del podio si piazza Enea Bastianini, seguito da Alex Marquez, Marini, Ogura, Fernandez, Zarco e Aldeguer.

Jorge Martin returns to winning. He did it with his Aprilia in a race that had been dominated by Pecco Bagnaia, but that lost speed in the last lap with the Spaniard overtaking him and then holding on in the final half-lap of the Sprint of the US GP of MotoGP at the Austin circuit. Third place for Acosta, while Bezzecchi and Marc Marquez and then Di Giannantonio crashed, with Martin climbing to the top of the World Championship. The same Martin in the celebratory lap after taking the front tire off after a long burst at 200 mph on the straight he slid off without any consequences.
Returning to the race on the first lap, Spanish rider Marc Marquez went wide in turn and crashed, also causing Di Giannantonio, the poleman, to crash. The Roman tried to get back into the race but was then forced to retire, while Bezzecchi crashed in turn with three laps to go and lost the first position in the riders’ standings. Enea Bastianini took fourth place, followed by Alex Marquez, Marini, Ogura, Fernandez, Zarco and Aldeguer.
