GNOME Circle didn't feel like such a big deal to me when it rolled out. Seeing how the apps improve as part of the process completely changed my mind about it.

@jimmac Yeah the GNOME Circle application process was transformative by itself. I remember @tbernard once called it a developer education initiative disguised a verification program.
