@jimmac I do see the advantage of pixel-perfect icons, though there is a place and time for SVGs: fractional scaling.SVGs can be a bit blurry at some scales, and a proper raster will sometimes look better. For example, in LibreOffice, the SVG icons are quite blurry but that could be down to the renderer being used.I wish we could bring back binary icon formats, but with modern image compression and embedded vector renderings side by side with the rasters.There's probably some compression gain to be had as well by compressing all these images together.
