Zevon was dying, and Dave gave him the WHOLE show that night.Even on death’s door, he performed immaculately, and in the interview was funny, self-deprecating and fully the Warren we’ve always known.

So, you take the victories where you can.Canadian pressings in a lot of cases were superior to the US ones. Particularly singles, where a lot of labels in the States were cheaping out by pushing out injection-molded styrene records which would wear out after a minimal number of plays on the kind of turntables most teenagers had.
