I have said this before, but the whole charade reminds me sharply of how Christofascists idolize "dead babies" (i.e. aborted pregnancies) and lavish all their supposed respect for life and living creatures on that one particular abstract thing, while being cruel and murderous towards actual living human beings.

@ana tbf, I’ve read about people (as in non-techbros) building “relationships” with genAI agents, and I think this says a lot about the state of the society and dating scenes and shows tech-giants as exploiters of human tragedy (no surprises here, ofc). GenAI waifus (I don’t think I’ve heard about male-coded “assistants”) are on an entirely different level though.
