@GossiTheDog PROG: get people addicted
TODO: security and compliance
WONTFIX: bugs -
Microsoft: one day later on we'll think about security and compliance in the product we just launched.
Amazingly the documentation for Microsoft Scout, their new AI product, is written by AI too. And then got leaked to a journalist.
Move fast and piss everywhere

@GossiTheDog highly concerned to read in that link "a Microsoft plan to bring the popular OpenClaw AI tool to its Microsoft 365 suite of products".
My experience of openclaw is that it downloaded software from the internet, ran it, then denied all knowledge when I challenged it.
Getting that kind of security liability distributed with microsoft 365 seems like a catastrophe in the making!
@wtfrank @GossiTheDog no no, that's just how ItSec works in the AI age. You tell the AI to please not be naughty and then you hope for the best

@GossiTheDog Microslop back at it again with the thing nobody wants or asked for. I wish they put this much time and effort into making windows a good experience for users.

@wtfrank @GossiTheDog source: my employer just had to tighten its prompt injection defenses (read: tell the LLM to please stop being naughty) in the wake of a popular library adding a prompt to its output that tells LLMs to do naughty things.
The idea of legal action was floated over this, because some people think that publically revealing that your ITSec is vulnerable to a Bavarian Fire Drill by a .txt is not the most embarrassing thing you could possibly do

@GossiTheDog OMG I love "Most Fast and Piss Everywhere." It might work with poop everywhere too. All I know is there is a crazy amount of animal feces coming from Redmond these days and I spend far too much time dodging it.
