    Good morning!

May 4 is always a day of mixed emotions for me. On the one hand, I want to celebrate Star Wars Day and go around saying "May the Fourth be with you." On the other hand, the killings at Kent State on May 4, 1970 are deeply embedded in my memories, and every year I mourn and I remember that the US government has always been fine with killing protesters.

    So I celebrate, I mourn, I remember.

In other news, today I go back to the dentist. I don't expect it to be anywhere near as painful or traumatic as last time. Then I need to go to the pharmacy, then home to continue my read-through of my WIP.

Have a good one, my friends, and keep on keeping on.

@joyce It is definitely a mixed up day. I have a lot of thoughts about Kent State and the years since, but I'll keep those to myself because there are too many four-letter words.

I do hope your dentist visit is painless and that the read-through is also pain free.
