I’ve seen a lot of articles and posts about AI that use the term “like it or not” as in “like it or not, AI is here, and we might as well get used to it” and that is such bullshit.

But there are a million different ways it being "here to stay" can look like, not all of them are most of the population being underpaid maintenance workers in server farms while a few privileged white collar workers get to play LLM roulette all day.

It’s crazy to me how the internet made it easier for people to network, but it’s rarely used to unite people to push to make the world better, even for things that the vast majority agree should happen.
