    @bosquebill Granted, I haven't used messaging apps on windows so maybe they can't send attachments, cat pics, space memes quite the same as other platforms. Or maybe copilot summarizes everything and they'd lose part of the critical mission calculations.

      @jerzone maybe not NEED. But they use it to talk to their family and get info/ data updates on science they’re doing.

          @catsalad @mycrowgirl @jerzone I was under the impression that was the whole point of the mission. We're so full of spam that it needed to be shipped off planet. Just like trash.

                  @catsalad @mycrowgirl @jerzone It feels like they're missing out on being able to set the greatest out-of-office message ever.

                    @cR0w [serious answer]
                    they tend to not do crunchies for space food primarily because of the hazards of floating debris in the capsule, and also because the food preservation for being in a vacuum environment means crunchy food is basically instantly stale.

                    Burrito/soft tortillas are very popular options though.

                          @froztbyte @catsalad @mycrowgirl @jerzone I'm now imagining some alien getting it, plugging it into their spaceship, crashing it, and getting assigned phishing awareness training.

                            @cR0w @catsalad @mycrowgirl @jerzone which they can't run because the databeams with the appropriate update for the hack to run .swf trainers hasn't gotten to their system yet
