    I made banana bread. I used the exponentially-more-expensive-than-white-sugar-but-healthier date sugar. I sprinkled my good cinnamon (Penzey's - IYKYK) on top of the pecans before baking. Made the house smell nice on this damp and chilly night.

      I made banana bread. I used the exponentially-more-expensive-than-white-sugar-but-healthier date sugar. I sprinkled my good cinnamon (Penzey's - IYKYK) on top of the pecans before baking. Made the house smell nice on this damp and chilly night.

          @InfoSecSherpa having two Penzey's about 20 minutes from my house is dangerous. I always spend too much money there.

            @InfoSecSherpa I love using that one and the China Tung Hing, depending on the recipe. Before walking into a Penzys store I had no idea there was such a difference. It is no longer just 'cinnamon' any longer, but which cinnamon.
