I purchased this top sheet at Fabindia in Mumbai 16 years ago, and I've used it almost constantly since then. Recently, the edges started ripping away from the body, so it was time to refurbish the sheet. It took several days to trim away the edges, and today, I ironed it all the way around and sewed down a new edge for the sheet. I'm SO happy to have this sheet back on my bed!
Yesterday was an outlier because I spent all day collecting petition signatures in an art supply shop. I bought a bagful of neglected art supplies, and I practised calligraphy, sharpened my watercolour pencils and used them, and I bought and used a new fountain pen.
