Well Dani, if you’re going to pursue the democratic approach, 480,000 Albertans signed a petition saying they want to remain in Canada and only 300,000 signed one saying they want to leave.
Why then are you arguing against the judge’s decision, unless you are planning to do the separation referendum against the wishes of a majority of your constituents?
Moe used to be far and away the dumbest premier. Used to be.
Smith is doing a full court press to prove me wrong.
Bitumen Barbi saw Vance mansplain Catholicism to the Pope and figures that's the way to roll, and teach the law and constitution to a friggen judge.

It’s the “diluted” part that works for me.

Isn't she the Premier who passed a law that says that any federal law they disagree with will be ignored …
You know, totally lawless and totally anti-democratic -

@Sanderde It is absolutely not her place to say that a judge is wrong, especially "in law". Doug Ford's pulled the same shit. There should be censures involved. They aren't dictators, they aren't allowed to say shit like that.

@ZenHeathen@beige.party @Sanderde@mstdn.ca you can say a judge is wrong in law if you're talking about like an Alberta law that you passed or something.. but constitutional law regarding treaty rights? Uh, no.. that's the exact reason the courts are separate from the legislature. -

But she has to say it in order to show she’s on the side of the separatist faction of the UCP, as detailed in the Globe article I shared this morning.

You can’t expect the Trumpian leader of the UCP to admit their law as written was not perfect.
