#OTD 10 May 1907, My great-grandparents succumbed to a fad and named their newborn girls Ima and Ura. The twins joined their two older brothers on the farm of Thomas Merrill Allee and Laura Ann Pryor in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Sadly, Ura Maggie died at five weeks old of unknown causes. Ima Nora Allee grew to adulthood, moving with her parents to Colorado. She married twice, but had no children. Her second husband, Maxwell Hersinger, served as marshal, sheriff and coroner in Lake City, Colorado. For many years they owned and managed guest cabins which provided a lovely spot for family vacations.
