I call for an immediate cessation of hostilities and de-escalation. Failing to do so risks a wider regional conflict with grave consequences for civilians and regional stability." (2/3)

"I strongly encourage all parties to return immediately to the negotiating table. I reiterate that there is no viable alternative to the peaceful settlement of international disputes, in full accordance with international law, including the UN Charter. @downey Where was that peace when 40000 of people of my country were getting murderer by Islamic Republic?
I understand if you don’t want to help other countries. It’s your choice. But please don’t use civilians as excuse when UN did absolutely nothing to help them. -

It was either void condemnation (see Gaza) or supporting US invasions.
Still, bombing people into democracy has been repeatedly proven to be ineffective. And whoever believes this is why Iran is being bombed needs to look back at Iraq, Lybia or Afghanistan. Not to mention all of Latin American where actual popular governments were repeatedly taken down in favor of US economic and strategic interests. -

But since UN never gave fuck about us and you all are aware of that, can you please stop using us as your reasons? We are not consulted and never was. Any action taken so far has fucked people solely. And the one time that Islamic republic is being targeted directly suddenly we are the reasons for and against doing this. Please either ask us what we want or not pretend that you really care about what we want?

(1/3) @downey Iran's attacks on US military installations across the region are legitimate self-defence, no?
