Hey freelance developer friends, do you carry insurance policies for your work? One of my contracts is asking me to have a $2 million dollar liability insurance policy in order to work for them.

Is that amount a reasonable ask for a single freelance developer?

Where do you buy your insurance from and what kind of policy are you carrying?

A reasonable amount if you are incorporated or a company limited or the contractual project promises book entries accordingly.
