The Butler "assassination attempt" really was pretty sus and the kind of thing that Putin tried to do in Hungary, too. It's just that the way MAGA approaches it won't be rational. All of us want investigations into all this shit; they want to confirm their biases. All that's changed is what they want to confirm.

Like, we wanted to see the medical records. We wanted the head CT and would have been shown it with any other president. We want to know how TF his ear grew back.
They want to blindly blame Miriam Adelson. I may not like what the Adelsons have done with their money, but in this case it's obviously just Candace Owens and co. being anti-Semitic again.

@MaryAustinBooks I've been saying this since after the election: We didn't lose the election because we had a bad candidate (white guy or black woman candidate was irrelevant), we lost because Trump lied so continuously and convincingly and didn't care if he cheated and lied to win..and Joe and Kamala and Tim refused to just bullshit back in equal or greater measure. Which means nothing we said or who we ran had a chance. Lies trumped truth. So all the post-mortems on "we lost because we were elites or didn't listen to angry white men or were too pro-trans..." were all clueless pontificating by those who missed the point. We lost because Trump lies, cheats, steals so effortlessly with a smirk. He won because he was always "the Snake who bites the kind woman stupid enough to save him" - he told that story for a reason, it's his joke on the losers dumb enough to take him in. And he knew he had the lack of honor to convince them.
The ONLY person who can convince Trump voters to abandon him was Trump. I'm ok with that.
They will never vote for any Dem Presidential, but they will refuse to vote. And that's our best bet. Let Trump suppress MAGA voters. Let them feel the snake bite.
